Oh boy, my first post! Don't mess it up...

I did it! We did it!

Welcome into our little 3rd space, our cozy corner of the interwebs. DIGITAL THICCNESS is my little brainchild of a project to share knowledge about what I do professionally in games as a Social Media and Community Manager in TTRPGs, be a resource for those who need it, and provide a small spark of positivity in your day because you deserve it. So yeah. A little learning, a little happiness. That’s what we call a “win-win situation” in the biz*.

What to expect when you’re expecting… a post… from me…

Each time I post, I want to have 3 buckets of what I want to share with y’all:

1. Social Media/Community Management/Professional Development

   1. This will be an EDUCATIONAL block where I can break down jargon, trends, resumes, sell sheets, media kits, e-commerce, SEO, news, and marketing within the digital realm, focused on teaching y’all things I’ve learned in hopes of transparency in what I do and how I got to where I got.

2. Personal Musings/Creative Projects

   1. This will be an EXPERIMENTAL block where I talk about what’s going on in my life, different events or movies I’ve watched, games I’ve played, and other things that are linked directly to me and my hobbies/interests and opinions on superfluous things.

3. Community/Culture/Hot Topics

   1. This will be an ENTERTAINMENT block that will be held for relevant topics that you can chime in on. This can range from the newest drama on Ru Paul’s Drag Race to the announcement of the Spiel de Jahres (board game of the year). There will be a focus on LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and other marginalized groups and topics.

What I expect from you and what you should also expect from me, re: Community.

Most of y’all know me but I want to reiterate that this is another way for me to create more connection and grounding points within my own community and the greater community as a whole. This space going to be a bit more intimate compared to my other social media presence as I’m able to put more time and specificity into what I put out. This will be a place where we can all be comfortable to learn, understand, and grow. Let me be clear: this is NOT a place to talk down to others, no place for bigotry or hate, or a platform that will be used to attract negativity.

Goals for DIGITAL THICCNESS

For me, this is a newer foray into the digital space so I hope that you can learn from my journey and examples. My personal goals for this are:

• 2-4 Posts a Month

• in 30-60 days: 100 subscribers

• 2-4 podcasts by March of 2024

For now, it’ll stay as a FREE substack but I’m leaving the subscribing options in case a sugar daddy, money momma, or glucose guardian is ready and willing to drop some $$$ to see me succeed (also it’s the price of a coffee to subscribe so maybe consider it!
